Meet Jen, our friendly local tattoo artist who began with jagua tattoos before transitioning to permanent ink. Backed by a solid foundation in illustration and animation, she blends technical expertise with creativity to design elegant floral pieces and meaningful, personal tattoos.
Aftercare
Everyone’s Jagua stain lasts a bit differently!
Jagua temporary tattoos typically last 1-2 weeks, but the duration can vary based on several factors:

Skin type and tone: Skin shade, lifestyle, and natural body chemistry all play a role in how long the stain lasts.

Daily activities: Frequent rubbing from clothing, as well as bathing and swimming, can shorten the lifespan of the tattoo.

Tattoo placement: Stains on areas with thicker skin, like the hands and feet, often develop darker stains.
With the right care, your Jagua tattoo can stay vibrant for as long as possible!
Moisturise your skin.
Apply a thin layer of coconut oil / almond oil / cocoa butter, etc, prior to any water exposure.
Apply sunblock to protect the skin and Jagua stain.
Avoid scratching or scrubbing on tattoo areas.
Minimise exposure to saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga or jacuzzi
